Let the eye not spare
Here’s what it means
To show no pity or hold back from carrying out judgment.
Why the Bible says it this way
The eye represents the compassionate response that might cause someone to stop.
An idiom is a familiar phrase whose meaning comes from the whole expression, not from reading each word by itself.
